Steps to become a Ubuntero

Becoming a Ubuntero just means that you have signed(digitally) the Ubuntu ‘Code of Conduct’. But how do you sign digitally?

• Get yourself a LaunchPad account.

• Here’s a neat and clear doc about setting up your ‘Keys’ : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GnuPrivacyGuardHowto ( The doc was so clear that I didnt want to recreate it here. )
  

• Once you finish setting up your signs, Upload the keys to Ubuntu Keyserver and Launchpad.

• Go to https://launchpad.net/codeofconduct and complete the steps to become a Ubuntero !

Instructions of how to digital sign your documents, encrypt/decrypt messages is found in the first link. And if you are using FireFox, dont forget to install FireGPG extension.
