Status Script for Banshee 1.0

Due to the change of APIs on Banshee 1.0 from earlier versions, the MusicTracker plugin of pidgin isn’t working anymore with Banshee 1.0. If you are still persistent on getting it done, heres a script I found in the net.

Replace the Banshee Launcher with the execution of this script and it will open Banshee for ya. Typically, the launcher should have the following as its command :

python /home/toolweb/Documents/pidgin_banshee_status.py

and be sure to “Uncheck” your MusicTracker Plugin in Pidgin else this won’t work as it would be interfering with this. Have Fun!
